Before the Mind Map project, many Chatwork clients often struggled with scattered tools that made it difficult to visualize the full picture of their projects. Teams from development, management, and stakeholders found it hard to track task dependencies, understand progress holistically, and coordinate effectively. This project began as a direct client requirement: Chatwork needed a dynamic, real-time workspace tailored to the demands of diverse industries and team workflows. Developed over eight months by a focused team using Adobe Flex 3, PHP5, and MySQL, the Mind Map project delivered a web-based interface with a Microsoft Office-like intuitive feel, supporting Japanese language for local clients. Key capabilities include:

The solution brought a significant step-change in transparency, coordination, and efficiency. Project managers gained early visibility into potential bottlenecks, which enabled them to allocate resources and minimize delays proactively.
